
Ömer Yazıcıoğlu was born on 9 September 1993 in the Karadeniz Ereğli district of Zonguldak. He completed his primary and secondary education in the Alaplı district of Zonguldak.
He studied International Trade and Logistics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University.
Raised in a family engaged in trade since 1960, Yazıcıoğlu entered business life at an early age. By combining the commercial knowledge and experience gained from his family with his academic education, he took on significant responsibilities at a young age.

He began his political work during his university years within the Justice and Development Party, first serving on the board of the party’s university organisation.
At the 6th Ordinary Congress of the party’s Kdz. Ereğli district organisation on 6 September 2020, he was elected to the executive board and appointed deputy district chair responsible for promotion and media.
On 14 March 2023 he stepped down from this role in order to stand as a prospective parliamentary candidate in the general election held on 14 May 2023.
He is a member of several civil society organisations and takes part in community work with a sense of social responsibility.
Ömer Yazıcıoğlu is married with one child and speaks English proficiently.
